The official opening of the River Tweed's Salmon season

On the 1st of February the Duke & Duchess of Roxburgh officially opened the Salmon season on The River Tweed at the junction pool Kelso.

We then gathered in the town hall over two days, with fly tiers from across the UK and Europe. With special a guest Stuart Hardy who brought his impressive classic collection of salmon flies dating back to 1700's

We had a great weekend meeting lots of new people and lovely to see some fast flies customers too.
